Are you familiar with the words? Are you now getting some ideas why those words are in my blog? Well, some of you now would be wondering right now. The words actually is the best way to describe what an art means, right? Now, Would you guys are going to agree with me? I think you should, I’m an expert! Just kidding, anyways going back to the topic. For you, Yes! You, the one who reads this. Can I ask you a question? For you what does an ART means?

As I browse my internet to find some meanings about what an art means, it lead me to this book entitled What Is Art For?. There is this woman named Ellen Dissanayake she shows me really what art is for. She listed so many words that includes on her book. I’ll name one, “The giving of meaning to life”.

In relate to that, everyone of us have already experienced art. As Ellen Dissanayake says, art gives meaning to life. Well, all arts really have meanings. It wouldn’t be called as art if what you’re doings is not really meaningful. A few trivia, do you guys encounter or have seen an abstract painting or whatever they called it. Did you know guys that even you can’t understand what that abstract is, still the one who did it would probably explain what it is. So, in conclusion, art is all about meanings. If your art doesn’t have any meaning at all, then why still calling it an ART?
